Jay Cutler Expected To Play Sunday Against The Vikings
You knew that after seeing what they saw from backup QB Jason Campbell last Monday night, the Bears would do everything they were legally allowed to do to get Jay Cutler back on the field. That included putting him through a series of tests today, which Cutler passed, the day before the Bears take on the Vikings. From CBSSports.com:
After a disastrous offensive performance Monday night against the 49ers, the Bears will get their most important player back in time for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reports that quarterback Jay Cutler has passed the various concussion tests this week and will start Sunday. “Cutler has come through the concussion tests and practice and passed all protocols,” La Canfora wrote. That must be a welcome relief for the Bears, who allowed backup quarterback Jason Campbell to take six sacks in a 32-7 loss to San Francisco. Cutler suffered a concussion in Week 10 and missed the second half of that game as well.
